Diamonds and Jewellery

Are lab grown diamonds real diamonds?

Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are diamonds created in a controlled laboratory rather than formed underground. They have essentially the same chemical, physical and optical properties as natural diamonds. They are not diamond simulants such as cubic zirconia or moissanite.

What is the difference between a lab grown diamond and a natural diamond?

The main difference is origin. A natural diamond forms in the earth, while a lab-grown diamond is created using technology that reproduces the conditions in which diamonds grow. Both are assessed using characteristics such as cut, colour, clarity and carat weight.

Are Vanior diamonds certified?

Where an independent grading report is included, this will be stated on the product page or in your quotation. Small accent diamonds are usually supplied as part of the finished jewellery and may not have individual reports. Please contact us before ordering if certification is important to your purchase.

Which metals does Vanior offer?

Vanior designs may be available in selected gold purities and colours, including white, yellow and rose gold. Availability varies by design. The metal and purity supplied will be shown on the product page and order confirmation.

Will my jewellery look exactly like the website image?

We aim to represent every piece accurately. Images may be enlarged to show detail, and colours can vary between screens. Carat weights, gemstone dimensions and metal weights may vary slightly because stones and handcrafted pieces are not always identical. Any material variation will be explained before your order is completed where required.

Orders and Customisation

What is the difference between ready to ship and made to order?

Ready-to-ship items are already completed and normally leave us after payment and final quality checks. Made-to-order items are produced after your order is confirmed. Their production estimate appears on the product page or quotation. Delivery time starts after production is complete.

Can I customise a Vanior design?

Selected designs can be customised by changing features such as the metal, stone shape, stone size, setting or engraving. Contact us before placing your order so we can confirm feasibility, price and production time. Customised items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Contact us as soon as possible. We will try to accommodate changes before fulfilment or production begins. Once a custom, personalised or made-to-specification item has entered production, cancellation or changes may not be possible. This does not limit any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

How long will my order take?

The estimated dispatch or production time is shown on the product page or in your quotation. Ready-to-ship and made-to-order pieces have different timeframes. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive tracking details and an estimated delivery date.

Can I place an urgent order?

Please contact us before ordering. Rush production or priority delivery may be available for selected designs, but it cannot be guaranteed and may involve an additional charge.

Which payment methods do you accept?

The payment methods available for your location will be displayed at checkout. All orders must be paid in full unless Vanior has agreed to a written deposit or payment arrangement.

Sizing and Care

How do I choose the correct ring size?

Please use our Ring Size Guide or have your finger measured by a reputable jeweller. Finger size can change with temperature, time of day and band width, so measure carefully before ordering. Contact us if you need help.

Can every ring be resized?

No. Resizing depends on the design, metal, setting and required adjustment. Full-eternity bands and some intricate or custom designs may not be resizable. Ask us before ordering if future resizing is important.

What happens if I order the wrong size?

Contact us promptly. We will confirm whether the design can be resized or must be remade and will provide any applicable fee and timeframe before work begins. A sizing error is generally treated as a change of mind unless the item supplied differs from the size ordered.

How should I care for my jewellery?

Store each piece separately and avoid impact, chlorine, bleach, household chemicals, cosmetics and prolonged moisture. Remove jewellery before swimming, sport, gardening, cleaning or heavy work. Clean it gently using a soft cloth and follow any care instructions supplied with the piece. Professional inspection is recommended for jewellery worn frequently.

Does Vanior provide a warranty?

Vanior honours all consumer guarantees required by Australian Consumer Law. Any additional manufacturing warranty offered for a product will be described on the product page or in a separate Warranty Policy. Normal wear, accidental damage, misuse, loss, and work performed by another jeweller may not be covered by an additional warranty, subject always to applicable law.

Shipping and Returns

Does Vanior ship worldwide?

Yes. Vanior ships to many international destinations. Available services, charges and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout. We may be unable to deliver to certain countries, regions or addresses because of carrier, insurance, sanctions or customs restrictions.

Do your prices include GST?

Yes. All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST.

Will I have to pay import duties or taxes?

For international orders, the customer is responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, brokerage and other charges of the destination country. These are not included in our prices or shipping charges. Customs authorities may contact you for payment or identification before releasing the parcel.

How can I track my order?

We will email tracking information after dispatch. Tracking may take a short time to become active in the courier's system.

Is my order insured in transit?

Yes, Vanior uses tracked delivery and, where available for the selected destination and service, transit insurance and a signature on delivery. Please follow the delivery instructions carefully and contact us immediately if a parcel is lost, damaged or appears to have been tampered with.

What if my order is delayed, lost or damaged?

Contact us with your order number. We will work with the carrier and keep you informed. If the parcel is confirmed lost or the product is damaged, we will provide the remedy required by applicable law and the circumstances of the claim. Keep all packaging and photograph visible damage when safe to do so.

What is the Vanior change of mind policy?

Eligible standard items may be returned for a refund if you request the return within 30 days after delivery and meet the conditions in our Returns and Exchanges Policy. Custom, personalised, engraved, altered, resized and specified hygiene-sensitive items are excluded from change-of-mind returns.

What if my jewellery is faulty?

Contact us as soon as possible with your order details and a description of the issue. Your rights for faulty goods are governed by Australian Consumer Law and are separate from our voluntary 30-day change-of-mind policy. Depending on the issue, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or another remedy.
